Meet Tammy, a former flight attendant for American Airlines who has retired to join the team at Beach house Vet. With her warm smile, love for animals, and knack for organization, she ensures that both clients and their furry friends receive top-notch care.

Tammy's years of experience as a flight attendant have honed her exceptional customer service skills. Passengers from all “paws" of life felt at ease in her presence, thanks to her friendly demeanor and attention to detail.

Driven by her deep-rooted love for animals, Tammy made the leap into the veterinary world. As part of the team at Beach house Vet, she brings her passion for customer service and genuine empathy for animals to create a welcoming environment for all who visit the clinic.

Beyond her role at the clinic, Tammy cherishes time with her two sons and her grand-kitties. A proud member of the Jupiter community for many years, she enjoys exploring the beautiful beaches and advocating for responsible pet ownership.

Meet Julia, a Jupiter native who has had a passion for working with animals since she was a little girl! Julia is currently attending Unity University online pursuing a degree in Animal Science and Animal Behavior. Julia has worked at a dog daycare / boarding center and even had her own pet sitting business! She loves all animals, especially seals, and is amazed by the bond between dogs and their owners! Julia aspires to become a great veterinary technician in the near future and is excited to pursue that dream here at The Beach House Vet!

Lauren, Certified Veterinary Technician

Lauren, Certified Veterinary Technician

Lauren has been working as Certified Veterinary Technician in New Hampshire for the last 12 years. She recently moved to FL with her husband and their Pug, Buccaneer. She earned a BS in Animal Science from UConn and an AS in Veterinary Technology from Bel-Rea. At her previous practice, she worked with all different species ranging from cats and dogs to ferrets, guinea pigs, and bearded dragons. Part of what Lauren loves about her job is getting to watch pets as they grow from puppies to adults and caring for them along the way. Lauren also enjoys assisting in surgery and performing dental cleanings. In her free time, she swims with a masters swim team and loves to read. She is looking forward to exploring all Florida has to offer!

Taylor, Veterinary Technician

Taylor started her journey in Veterinary Medicine in 2006. She knew that she wanted to care for animals from a very young age and is always ready to help any animal in need. She strives to provide quality care for all of her patients each day. Taylor understands the importance of client education and enjoys building the knowledge of pet owners. She likes to stay up to date and is passionate about continuing education. Taylor has a fond interest in veterinary dentistry and senior pet care.
Taylor is a mother of two children, Lucas and Marley, with her spouse of 14 years. She has many fur babies of her own, two dogs, three cats, and two turtles.

Amy Mawhorr

Amy has spent many years working in human medicine, particularly oral surgery and dermatology. Her love for animals has brought her out of retirement. Amy is a mom of 3 wonderful children and a dog mommy to Buddy her Shih Tzu. She loves to spend time outdoors, when not online or thrift store shopping, and you can often find her paddleboarding, boating, or fishing.
